Can I say,

(a) Meng raced to the canteen. A boy was holding a bowl of hot soup. Some pupils saw and shouted loudly. A teacher gave him a warning but too late / but it was too late.

(b) Some pupils shouted for a warning / shouted to him for a warning. unfortunately, he ran into a boy who was holding a bowl of soup.

(c) Some pupils shouted out a warning but too late / but it was too late.
