Gather Feedback

Hi there, I wanted to know if the phrase"Gather Feedback" common and correct?
for example: The next step in analysis is to gather feedback from users

Top answer

I hear this often at work. I think it is somewhat colloquial, but yes, it is common and correct. Feedback as one word (not two) is a noun.

So just like someone can "give feedback" through a survey, you can "receive feedback" or "gather feedback." Gather obviously implies that you have to do some work to do in order to obtain it; so this of course depends on the situation.
