What do the doctors ask patients when too much gas generated in the intestinal tract.

Do you have flatulence?

Are you passing too much gas?

Are you passing too much wind?

These two are fine. The doctor will ask the first only if he thinks the patient is educated enough to know the meaning of "flatulence".
