Future with “ be going to” or “ present continuous “

Dear everybody

For talking about future. On situations which we make decision right on the time of speaking, we should use “ be going to “ or “ present continuous “

For example

We are having lunch. My mom tell me to eat salmon. But I hate salmon

Mom: let ‘s eat more salmon. It is good for you.

Me: I am not going to eat // I am not eating salmon. I hate it.

Many thanks in advance.
