Future tense in interrogative sentences

Hallo

Recently I received a message comprising the question:

'How will you ensure that such mistake will not happen again?'

Is it grammatically correct or it should be rather typed as follows:

'How will you ensure that such mistake does not happen again?'

#2 is better.
