future tense and going to tense

this should be a relatively straight forward question.

in response to the question "what would you like to eat?" what is the correct answer and why?

i will have a pizza
i am going to have a pizza

The most straightforward answer is based on the same wording as the question. ie I'd like a pizza. ) I'll have a pizza.

The most straightforward answer is based on the same wording as the question.
ie I'd like a pizza. (Add 'please' if the question was meant as an offer.)

I'll have a pizza. OK
I'm going to have a pizza. Less polite if it was an offer.

Please remember that correct written English requires correct use of capital letters and punctuation.

Both are correct, so much depends on the context.

'going to' usually implies the speaker has given the action more thought.
