future simple or fut continuous

In a book it's said that the correct phrase is:
I'm sure your aunt will lend us some money. She's very rich. - instead of using 'is lending'. Why should I use future simple if it is told he was sure about the money? Tks for any help.

I'm sure your aunt will lend us some money. (At some future time, your aunt will do it.)
I'm sure your aunt is lending us some money. (Money has been mysteriously showing up in your bank account recently. You are sure that the source of the money is the aunt, and she, at some point, will ask for a repayment.)
