Grammar

Future simple or continuous for predictions

Hello, could anyone help me with this please - are f.c. and f.s interchangeable if we make predicton for the future?

Grammar books say that for predicting a situation going on at some point of time in the future we should use future continuous. However, many articles use future simple in their headlines ..

If I use future simple, doesnt it mean that the situation will just start at that point of time?

For example: By 2050, 60% of people will live/will be living in cities.

By 2050, 130 milion people will suffer/will be suffering from dementia.

By 2050, we will live longer/will be living longer.

Thank you very much for explanation!
