Future Perfect vs Will

Hi, can somebody please help me to understand the meaning between these two sentences:

I'm sure the parcel will have arrived by Tom's birthday. I'm sure the parcel will arrive by Tom's birthday. ?

And

Next year is our silver wedding, that means we will have been married for 25 years. Next year is our silver wedding, that means we will be married for 25 years.

I dont't really understand if there is any difference or not.

Thanks, Katka
