Hello,
For the underlined phrase of the following sentence is future perfect tense also possible?
"Angela will understand why he has left her in time." (will have understood ???)
Thanks,
For me, "will have understood" is not a very good fit with "in time".

tomeng"In time, Angela will understand why he has left herin time."
It means "at some (unknown) time in the future" Angela will have this understanding.
The adverbial (in time) goes with "will understand", not "has left", so it must be positioned at the beginning.
