Grammar

Future perfect and past perfect tense.

So I'm a little confused about the future pefect tense. My Latin teacher explained it like this. I'm not sure if the tenses are the same in latin as in english but I'm trying to understand what it is in English grammar.

Pluperfect perfect future perfect

__________________________________________________________
Past Present Future

So future perfect is a completed action so it occurs before the present, so basically in the past. Am I understanding this correctly?

And pluperfect is before an already completed action right?

Perfect (past, present and future) is used when the state caused by an event prevails until the time of a second event. In the case of the present perfect the second event is always "now". I had been vaccinated before I visited Africa.
