Future perfect

The deadline for accepting the university offer is on 14 May.

"It's too soon. I won't make a decision by then."

"It's too soon. I will not have made a decision by then."

Are both sentences possible?

Ann225 Are both sentences possible? Yes. However, in "real life" the speaker would most likely say "won't" in the second one instead of "will not".
