Future Perfect 1 sentence need major help

Can this sentence be said ?

I need you to do this incase you die tomorrow, that way , at least we'll have had one nice night together.

one more thing does the following make sense.

1 The doctor asked the patient to count down from 20, and by the time he was at 13, he was out. The reason the doctor asks his patient to count down from 20 before they become unconscious is because the patient isn't expecting to go out until he's down to 0, making the whole experence less frightening.

Could someone correct the sentence above and tell me whether ther is something wrong with th bold part? (I don't know if you can say "asked the patient to count down from 20 before he'd go unconscious"

Thanks

  • I don't understand why you must say that they count down from twenty before they become unconscious -- isn't that implied?
  • Use patients or patient consistently.
