Shall I say

I don't know if you will remember me or I don't know if you remember me
may be both are correct? Are there any differences between these sentences?

My effort: Both sentences are correct but they have different meanings. I don't know if she (still) remembers me . ] I don't know if she will remember me (after 5 years) [the speaker is talking about future; he is not sure if she will be able to recognize him after 5 years, or will still have his image in her memory after that period] Tom
