Future in the past

Hi, I have a question.

1.
There's a sentence: I knew it wouldn't be nice.

We use future in the past.

Will the following example look in the same way?

I should have known it WOULDN'T be nice.

or

I should have known it WON'T be nice.

Thanks.

I should have known it WON'T be nice.>> Won't is a contraction of "will not." It is not correct as an expression of a future event in the past.
