Fused relative pronouns

Hi,

I had some help with fused relative pronouns from CJ, and I now have an alright understanding of them; I have, also, read the article on Wikipedia.

Question

When what is a pronoun, is it always a fused relative pronoun?

Same question for other words that can be a fused relative pronoun, such as whatever.

If you have anything else which may be helpful for me to completely understand fused relative pronouns, then I would appreciate your help.

Thanks.

I think you need to buy yourself a copy of Introduction to the Grammar of English by Rodney Huddleston.
