I should add that, in the UK, once you have been to university and graduated then a continuation of your studies afterwards might be referred to as 'post-graduate'
Many teachers will have studied their subject at university and then - maybe for a year after - learnt to teach. That might well be referred to as postgraduate education
Other teachers may learn their skill
