Funny

I have a friend who made me laugh once or twice throughout our experience together. I received a questioner from my teacher about the person sitting next to me (personality), and it asked me if I thought he was funny. I put no. However, after reading the definition of "funny" - causing laughter. Doesn't this make him funny?

I know this is a weird quesiton to ask, but it has been bugging me for a while.

Thanks.
