Grammar

fun/funny

Hi

Sometimes I do not know when to say which.

Is there any difference (I suppose there is) if I say: Your lesson was fun OR Your lesson was funny.

OR: It was fun AND It was funny

thanks

Hi your lesson was fun. (if you think that the lesson you attended was very engaging, exciting and interesting) while, your lesson was funny. (would be more of like hilarious, more sense of humor & probably that made you laughed) =] 2cents worth

'Fun' is a noun; 'funny' is an adjective.

They had a lot of fun at the party.
