Fundrasing

Hello i was woundering if you could help me in writing a letter which would be going out to many different organisations where they hold sausage sizzles, examples - bunnings and mitre 10. I have just made a Representative side for Queensland for a specific sport and it will cost approx 2500 to play, i am an independent person, still at university, and would like some help writing to businesses asking if i could do some fundrasing out side there buildings. I just don't no how to start.
