Funding description

Hi friends,

I have difficulties with writing a description of my funding situation. Can any one take a look at this one. I have tried but it seems so stupid, I think. So, can you give me some comments or hint about it? Thank you all of you very much in advance.

Happy New Year to all the members and also the guests here!

Dear Sir or Madam:

I am ..., an applicant for the Agri Mundus Programme and the Eramus Mundus Scholarship. With this letter, I would like to give a brief description about my funding situation.

I was born in the five-member-family. My father is working as a middle-ranking civil servant with the fixed salary at about 1.500.000 VND (about 100 US dollars) a month. My mother is doing her business at my house as a grocer, and the total income of her grocery store is about 3.000.000 VND (about 200 US dollars). With the total amount of money of 4.500.000 VND (300 US dollars), my parents have to cover the every day needs of 5 persons as well as the study and subsistence expenses of their 3 children. As the eldest sister in my family, I have been trying to help my parent in earning money.

During the university-life, I have experienced some part-time job. I have worked as a consultant of an oversee study guidance agency, an English tutor for a 15-years old Vietnamese pupil. And now, I am working as an English tutor for 3 Korean pupils and teaching Vietnamese for 2 foreigners while applying for a job at Ho Chi Minh City. With the total salary at 2.000.000 VND (about 140 US dollars), I can cover my everyday needs and prepare for my studying expenses at master degree in my country. However, with this amount of money, it is very hard for me to pursue my study abroad. Therefore, I candidate for the academic admission of the Agri Mundus Master Course and the Eramus Mundus Scholarship, and I intend to withdraw my application in the case I admitted to the Agris Mundus Course, but not selected for an EM scholarship.
