Functional structure.

Hi,

I would like to know if "functional structures" can be understood in this sentence as "structure of function", function in the meaning of an enterprise subdivision. Can we create such an attribute in this meaning? Because the other meaning does not really make sense.

An evaluation is to be conducted in light of the business unit/functional structures and evaluations to avoid ‘spot’ evaluation outcomes which may not be internally consistent.

Thank you

It is not standard, I believe. Stick with 'business unit'.

Ok, thanks, it does make sence also in the meaning "function", I just had some problems with formulation of target text.
