Fun movies to watch. Grownups!

Okay, I'll start it.
Dinner Rush is (I've read somewhere) the last real NY movie mad before 9-11. It's a fun ride. Totally NYC.
Brokeback Mountain. Saw it on TV (was visiting Mom, what can I say?) and it's a gripping tale. Lotta sheep, lotta emotion - in a good way.

Truman - a good story - very cold, in a good way.
Okay. Yours?

Amen.
[nq:1]But a classic series that's just as slow but which I can watch over and over is Satyajit Ray's "Apu" ... and true, and it gives you a sense of how close we skate to a world where

This was a really interesting concept destitute ex-serviceman Adolf Hitler tries to sell his paintings to wealthy Jewish art dealer Max completely ruined by the performance of the actor who played Hitler. He had no energy, no magnetism, and was a shockingly bad public speaker. No way could he have become Der Fuhrer.
