fuel oil

Can you please check it? Thank you.

Fuel oil – medium and heavy, (it) is composed of all side-products made during the oil processing that do not fall under the rest of the oil derivatives. The most important characteristic/property of this oil is viscosity and the amount of total sulphur. The lower viscosity is important because of the easier dispersion of fuel oil in incinerators' s burners, and of sulphur because of the corrosion.

Alan.esthe amount of sulphur because of the corrosion.
the amount of sulphur because it leads to corrosion.

I like that, Squeaky. It's much clearer but I didn't add that because it seems the original text didn't say that. It's the old dilemma of translators. Your job is to translate what the original author said and not necessarily to improve his words.

I am allowed to make slight changes and improvements, but as you had said youreself in one of your posts, Alan, than I have to be consistent.

Thank you both.
