"Fruit" as a countable noun

Regarding the following two sentences:

(A) Nancy likes fruit better than sweets.
(B) Nancy likes fruits better than sweets.

I'm pretty sure that there's no problem with (A), but I'm not sure about (B). Is it fine, too?

It's OK, but I think a non-native choice. The marked plural is very rare in general English.
