Frozen meal

She came from the kitchen with her dinner - a frozen meal of lasagne.

Is "frozen meal" the most common description of a fast meal that is heated up in a microwave oven?

Can I call it a frozen meal even when it is prepared, or should I say: a prepared frozen meal?

Top answer

More natural is just to say eg a frozen lasagna. (lasagn e is OK, but in Canada I always hear lasagn a ) Clive.
