Vocabulary

from X above

Hello everyone,

How can I express that something ranges, say, from 10 to anything above that value? Is it possible to say "ranging from 10 above"?

Many thanks in advance!

Best,

P.

It depends on the object you are talking about. A book might be appropriate for kids ages 10 and up (or ten and older). A special tour of a city might only be available for groups of 10 or more people.

Thank you. How about "the voltages range from 100V above"? Would that be possible?

Many thanks once more!

If you are speaking, you can say "The voltages range from 100V and up." If you are writing something for a product description or report, you can say "The voltages range from 100V and higher."
