from this year onwards I'm going for a job, in correspondence

I completed my degree last year. so from this year onwards I'm going for a job as well as preparing for the entrance exam. Next year I'm going to do "XA" but mostly in correspondence.

Please correct my sentence. [Note : Please assume "XA" as a course name]
