From the middle

Can one say

a. In the house is where to do this.

(Intended meaning: The place to do this is in the house.)

b. If you want to push that metal place down, from the middle is where it makes sense to push it.

(Intended meaning: If you want to push that metal place down, it makes sense to push it down from the middle.)
