It was a lovely spring day. We could see yellow dandelions popping through the grass As if the painter Touch our landscape With bits of gold. I watched my mother angrily bend down by one of the dandelions. “I think I am going to dig up All these weeds” she said. _________ we’ll have only roses in this garden.


im confused by then on it now on. Because the story is in past tense. She said she’s going to dig up. Doesn’t mean she done it yet. Now is is used with the period now. Or from the moment onwards. But then on also for me later in time.


Whats your opinion. What’s the correct answer.
