"from lowest to highest"

Is it correct to say "there are five different sensitivity levels ranging from lowest to highest"?
Or else, what's a better to rewrite it?

The sentence may be grammatically correct but I get the impression that it was written for nitwits. I would write: There are five sensitivity levels. If there are five of them, they are obviously different.

  • Any fool also understands that there is a difference between the levels and they therefore range from low to high or high to low.
