Would you please tell me if the following sentence is correct? In the sentence I intend to use the "linguistic" in the sense 'Of or relating to language'.

I don't think "a" should be used. I intend to use "linguistic" as an adjective.

Anonymous is absolutely correct. You can add as many adjectives as you like, but 'point' remains a singular countable noun requiring an article. Or you could use 'the'.
