From home/ at home?

which is right?

1. I work from home.
I work at home.

for the two sentences above, i mean, I have a job that is home-based. how do i say it?

how about this sentence?

2. I am a work-from-home mom.
I am a work-at-home mom.

which is to use? are the hyphens still necessary?

The #1 sentences are both fine. The #2 sentences are useless, it seems to me, since moms do not practice motherhood anywhere else.

what i meant with the #2 sentences is : I am a mother who works at/from home. ( have a job at home, apart from motherhood.) but i want to make the sentence in this format:

I am a WORK-AT-HOME mom.

or is it better to use?

I am a WORK-FROM-HOME mom.

hope i made my point clear.

thanks a lot for ALWAYS helping me!

Neither. They do not make clear what you are trying to say.

I am a working mother, but I work from my home.
