Which are correct
(He and I are swimming in a pool, so the sentences make sense.... We could be piloting planes too of course):

1-I overtook him from below.
2-I overtook him from underneath.
3-I overtook him from under him
4-I overtook him from beneath.
5-I overtook him from beneath him.

Or
Swimming/flying below/beneath/underneath him, I soon overtook him.
