From age thirty five to forty one

I have made up a sentence below.

(ex) From age thirty five to forty one, I experienced a financial crisis. Fortunately, my family and friends gave me a lot of support during that period of time.

Is it correct to say "from age thirty five to forty one" to mean "when I was 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, and 41" ? Thank you very much for your help and time.
