Fridays or Friday

(1a) I usually work on Friday.

(1b) I usually work on Fridays.

(2a) I always work on Friday.

(2b) I always work on Fridays.

My non-native English speaking friends think my sentences 1a and 2b are correct because "usually" and "always" mean something happening repeatedly. So, you need the singular form of Friday.

However, I think my two other sentences are correct because I am talking about every Friday.

What is your opinion? Thanks a lot.

I would accept all of those, but I think I would naturally use 1b and 2b.
