Is the original not natural?

I'm not a native but the original sounds awkward. I just thought that "two Fridays ago" would sound better and it would make the understanding easier..

Pucca, Google Books seems to agree with you. Thank you so much. One more question, is "sent in my car " natural to you? Does it imply "I sent my car to the mechanic"?

I don't know about that part. I understood what you meant in your first sentence but I don't know whether it's natural or not.

But maybe it's "I took my car to the mechanic" because you can't send it, can you? [:^)]

Logically, I think you're right but I've heard people say it. Maybe a native can help me here. Thank again, Pucca

I put my car in for a service/for repair two weeks ago last Friday.

Sorry, Optilang. I don't understand "two weeks ago last Friday".

1.If today is Thursday when is two weeks ago last friday? It sounds like 20 days ago.

2. Also, does two Fridays ago sound natural to you?

3. How do you interpret 'sent in" in this context?

I know I'm asking a lot. I can't help it because the sentence is really confusing

One amendment.
I sent in my car two weeks ago on Friday and I haven't heard any news about it.
In your senario, period of weeks should be more important than period of days, therefore '2 weeks ago' should mention first.
