Fresh and Refreshing

Could anybody tell me how to different them when we use them as an adjective?

ex. It was a refreshing change for the judges at the Oratorical Contest to listen to a speech that did not touch on Vision 2020.

ex.a fresh slant on the problem.

ex.This is the opportunity he needs to make a fresh start.

ex.Let's gp and get some fresh air
