"Today, in our more frenetic age, it seems to me she had a point"

How can I explain the meaning of frenetic age here ?

com/dictionary/eye " Frenetic age (my guess): everything goes faster and faster, everybody is stressed, success = achievement etc etc... But maybe the context can give clues as to what "frenetic" means in your sentence?

sentiment profoundly irriating. Today, in our more frenetic age, it seems to me she had a point.
