Free of otherwise

If it isn't going to be easy, does anyone know of a component that I can hook into to do the dirty work, free of otherwise?

Could anyone tell me what 'free of otherwise' mean here?

Thanks.

Hi LiJ I think it's a typo and should be free or otherwise. In other words, free or not free, whatever "free" means in the sentence. CB
