' Fred's GIG for anything'

Hello, I have problems to understand the meaning of the final on this paragraph:
'Fred was the MC of the room and the maestro in charge of all entertainers. The daytime show, an extravaganza of patchwork, featured (...)nothing that would change your view of the world. I WOULDN'T HAVE WANTED FRED'S GIG FOR ANYTHING'

Thanks in advance, Jo.
