Here are a few sentences from different business letters. Could you please check if they are grammatically correct and in appropriate register.

Company “Newton” is presenting its duty to you and expressing its interest for your interview in New York Times on 11/20/2008.



If you are interested in our proposal, we are ready to negotiate at your convenience.

We would like to inform you that on 11/20/2008 we sent Mr. Brown an official letter with our proposal regarding internet promotion and information support. Unfortunately, we have not received any answer.

About the first sentence: it was a translation from my language, maybe to literal. Now I’ll try to rephrase it. (In the original text there are some phrases which sound rather old-fashioned to me, so it may be so in the translated text as well.)
