Fragments

I feel that the group of words below are fragments. Did I fix them correctly? My edits are right below each fragment.

Some groups of students athletes hang out together.


2. Hang out together

Some group of student athletes hang out together.


3. People that group is really smart.

People in that group are really smart. I used "are" for people here as people is considered plural.
