What is the difference between a four-poster and a canopy bed? I think that the canopy bed has an upper frame to attach the canopy to, which the four-poster lacks. Am I right or am I completely off-base?
Please help! Thank you!
Top answer
Four-poster beds are usually designed that way to fit a canopy on top. However, not all canopy beds are of the four-poster type.

What other types of canopy beds are there? I've searched Wikipedia and I've only found the four-poster type. I'll be really grateful if you tell me about the other types of canopy beds. Thanks a lot!
