Found vs. Start (a business)

I was wondering if the following sentence is correct: I want to found my own business.

I'm asking if it's correct because I've never heard this verb used in the present simple form and when I did a search in google ("I want to found my own business") it only came up with 45 hits. However, when I typed in "I want to start my own business" it came back with over 144,000 hits.

And another question related to this word, if you were marking a paper, would you mark it as incorrect?

Thanks kindly!
