Found or met?

Hi teachers,

Is it correct to say: I found your mother at the bus stop.

or it is better to say: I met your mother at the bus stop.

If there was a prearranged agreement between you and the mother, then you met her there. If you saw her there unexpectedly, then you ran into her there.
