Is this sentence correct? Do I need a comma between layer and found?

Is this sentence correct? Do I need a comma between layer and found? No, it's OK. But it obviouly needs to be part of a larger context.

I think it's OK, but I would like a comma, or otherwise when first parsing, one could think the above represents either of:

Beneath the layer, found are some of the most valuable natural resources.
Beneath the layer found, are some of the most valuable natural resources.

I don't think there can be any misunderstanding, Marius.

The first version is grammatically fallacious: the only inversion possible in English is with the finite form jumping over the subject; hence 'found are' looks like a mistake.
