Are the sentences below natural? Can we use the word "foul" in the sense of making mistakes whether in its real sense or figuratively? Or can it be used for something wrong that has been done?
1. He made some fouls.
2. He did some fouls.
3. He commited some fouls.
4. He fouled several times.

'Foul' is only used of sports. In that context, 1. 3 and 4 are OK.
