Fossil Fuels (plural/singular)?
Hello and salaam everyone. I just want to ask, if we are describing fossil fuels in an essay, do we refer to 'fossil fuels' as THEY or IT? It's quite confusing for me.
"...the usage of fossil fuels should be banned after considering the negative consequences that it has/ they have brought to us and our surrounding..."
