Fossil fuels (coal, oil and natural gas) are the main sources in many countries. However, in some countries, the use of alternative sources of energy (wind and solar energy) are encouraged. Do you think it is a positive or negative development?

Nowadays, some countries encourage renewable energy sources, I think that this trend will bring many advantage effects to environment and economy in the next time. There are many great benefit of the development of clean energy sources. To begin with, the first advantage is that investing in these source helps to reduce the total of harmful gas such as N20, CO… which is the biggest source creates greenhouse effect. As a result, it leads to reduce the risk of ice melt and rise the Earth’s temperature. Secondly, because the governments spend money on increasing energy sources not from fossil this allows to eliminate air and water pollution. The health of people can be improved by reduce the causes of diseases. For instance, thanks to living in a clean and fresh environment, the number of citizens in Holland are get health problems relating to respiratory is very low. Therefore, the nation’s budget is invested for other fields such as education or construction instead of health care system. Additionally, many countries in the world which does not have fossil fuels (coal, oil and natural gas) encouraging the use of alternative sources of energy (wind and solar energy) is necessary. Consequently, by governments have priority policies the eliminate of energy sources not from fossil, they are not be depended on other countries. Moreover, they can also develop other industries which are related to clean energy along with more jobs for young people. In conclusion, I believe that renewable energy plays an important role in the sustainable development of the world.
